Amanda Wlaysewski is the owner/operator of Nakeen Homepack, a custom processing facility in Naknek, Alaska. Her business is centered around providing services for the Bristol Bay fleet in their efforts to direct-market their catch. A cannery kid at heart, when she isn’t packing fish, Amanda is working toward a Doctorate in Cultural Anthropology writing about labor in food systems.
