Jeff Rider, PE, is a Senior Marine Engineer at Glosten with more than 15 years of experience in marine mechanical and electrical systems design. His work includes new vessel design, repowers, and conversions, including extensive work supporting the Alaska Marine Highway System. Jeff has particular expertise in hybrid and electric propulsion and served as Project Manager for the San Francisco Bar Pilots’ new hybrid-electric station boat design. His experience spans both conventional and emerging propulsion technologies, helping operators improve efficiency and reduce emissions while meeting demanding operational requirements.
