Cari Brandberg is Treasurer of Newport Fishermen’s Wives and a lifelong member of the Newport, Oregon fishing community. She and her partner Cody Chase own and operate Chelsea Rose Seafood, a multi-generational family business running the historic F/V Chelsea Rose out of Newport. Cari also serves as Treasurer of the Oregon Coast Crabbers Association and as Treasurer and Secretary of the Oregon Albacore Commission. Her involvement spans the full breadth of coastal fishing industry life from the deck to the dock to the organizations that hold fishing communities together through their hardest days.
