Brian Nease is a Workforce Programs Analyst for the State of Oregon – Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC). He administers multiple state and federal workforce grants, including the Oregon Maritime Workforce Grant. In addition to grant work, Brian is involved in industry engagement within the maritime, natural resources, and clean energy sectors. Brian also serves as Oregon’s State Level Equal Opportunity Officer for the Federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. Prior to his work at the HECC, Brian provided workforce opportunities to many vulnerable populations, including low-income, justice involved, older workers, people with disabilities, and injured workers.
