Brent Paylor is a Trident Seafoods captain with over 40 years on the water and 32 years in the wheelhouse. Primarily targeting Wild Alaska Pollock and Pacific whiting, Brent captains the C/P Island Enterprise with an average crew of 128 men and women. In addition to his work as captain, Brent is involved in research projects developing and testing novel technology with a focus on promoting efficiency and sustainability. The most prominent projects have been focused on sea bird mitigation and the use of active selection devices in pelagic trawls.
