National Future Fishermen Summit

Friday, November 20 | 11:00am – 5:00pm | Ballroom 6E

Registration is free, but we ask that you sign up ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

The 2026 National Future Fishermen Summit is the first national gathering of its kind dedicated to young and future commercial fishermen across the United States. Hosted by the National Future Fishermen Coalition (NFFC) on Friday, Nov. 20th, in the Ballroom at the Pacific Marine Expo, this exciting new event will bring together young fishermen, deckhands, aspiring entrants, seasoned captains, industry leaders, workforce development organizations, and fishing communities from across U.S. coasts to connect, collaborate, and strengthen the future of commercial fishing.

Through hands-on sessions, open conversations, networking, mentorship, and collaborative activities, attendees will gain practical tools, discover new opportunities, exchange ideas and solutions, and connect with the people and resources that can help them start, grow, diversify, and sustain successful fishing careers and businesses. More than just a conference, the Summit brings the NFFC’s mission to life: creating a national community where the next generation of fishermen can learn from one another, build lasting connections, and strengthen the future of working waterfronts together.

NFFC will be present all three days, so make sure to stop by our booth to learn more about the Coalition’s work, explore ways to collaborate, discover helpful career and business resources, join in on fun activities, and grab some awesome NFFC merch!
