Ray Giometti has been the Business and Operations Manager for Commercial and Fishing Operations since 2005. He is responsible for customer service and occupancy at Fishermen’s Terminal, Salmon Bay Marina and the Maritime Industrial Center, which, depending on the size of the boats, means there is space for 450 boats at any one time.
At Fishermen’s Terminal, the main focus has been and remains active commercial fishing boats, however with a policy change that allows recreational boats at Fishermen’s Terminal when there is not a commercial boat to take the space and the purchase of Salmon Bay Marina in 2018, recreational moorage is an increasing percentage of the business that is overseen.
