LT Kaitlyn Moore arrived at Sector Anchorage in 2021 to serve as the Chief of Investigations Division. Her previous tours include: Sector Los Angeles – Long Beach as an Investigating Officer and Marine Safety Unit Houma as a Domestic Vessel Inspector. LT Moore is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, with a marine engineering background. Prior to joining the Coast Guard, she worked as an assistant engineer on harbor tugs in Corpus Christi, TX. Her background as a merchant mariner provides balance of regulatory requirements and industry application.
