This 30-minute hands-on session, led with Project Gabe and AMSEA, covers natural approaches to chronic pain, how to recognize and respond to an overdose, the facts about fentanyl, and full Naloxone training. Because fishermen are the first responders at sea, the class fulfills the requirements for AMSEA certification in overdose education and Naloxone distribution. Mannequins are on hand to practice CPR and Naloxone technique.
