2025 Education Program

Each year, Pacific Marine Expo brings together the people and ideas shaping the future of the maritime industry. The show’s free education program, developed in collaboration with National Fisherman, WorkBoat, and Maritime Blue, delivers timely insights and practical knowledge for everyone who makes their living on
the water.

Held across two stages on the show floor, the 2025 program is organized around three central content tracks — Commercial Fishing, Blue Economy, and WorkBoat. Together, these sessions offer a cross-section of perspectives from across the industry, exploring challenges and opportunities in fleet operations, vessel construction, workforce development, safety, and sustainability.

The Main Stage continues its focus on the commercial fishing sector, featuring discussions on policy, management, and innovation — from modern gear design to the next generation of fishermen and women. Just steps away, the West Hall Stage broadens the conversation with expanded programming dedicated to the blue economy and workboat markets. Topics range from vessel electrification and decarbonization to new technologies driving efficiency, resilience, and environmental progress.

Whether you’re a captain, boatbuilder, supplier, or student, the PME education sessions are a chance to exchange ideas, ask questions, and strengthen connections across the maritime community.
