Biography

Chase Williams is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Washington in Dr. Evan Gallagher's lab. In close collaboration with NOAA scientists, his research focuses on the potential effects of ocean acidification on critical neurobehavioral functions in important Pacific Northwest fish species. More specifically, how ocean acidification affects a fish's ability to sense and respond to cues that are important for survival. He holds a Doctoral degree in Toxicology from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology from Humboldt State University.
