Andy began his career studying the economics of Alaska's seafood industry in 2004 as a labor economist for the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development. During his time with the State he also administered the final round of grant funding for the Alaska Fisheries Revitalization program. In 2010, Wink moved to the private sector as a seafood analyst with the McDowell Group. He has provided consulting and research services dealing with seafood markets, economic impacts, and development projects for numerous seafood industry clients during his tenure at McDowell Group. Mr. Wink has been named best fish economist by Alaska Fish Radio the last three years running.
